SIGMUD

Sigmud, solo project of independent Argentine musician Julián Peralta.

Instrumentally, his sound features lush, multi-layered arrangements of psychedelic rock, and the song structures harken back to forgotten soundtracks lost in time.

A spatial sound, nourished by vintage instruments and sounds processed with multiple layers of effects.

The albums are presented as conceptual stories, always inspired by fantasy and science fiction, such as his latest album "The Return of the Space Ants," or "Conquerors," a tribute album to the Russian dogs that traveled to space, with layers of delays inducing a hypnotic mantra.

Sigmud started in the 90s in home studios, using the most varied instruments and software possible. Many of his albums are entirely made with smartphones, using the latest available apps to create music.

Progressive, aesthetic, vintage, atmospheric sound. Music for movies that were never filmed...
